RESTORATION MINISTRIES
Who We Are
Herb and Diane Bishop, from Battle Creek, Michigan, have a story of faith, resilience, and devotion to God’s principles.
During their first marriages, they each faced the painful reality of standing for their marriage alone, cleaving to the Lord, even when their first spouses had no desire to make the relationship work. Through these challenging times, they both discovered the importance of seeking God’s guidance and learning how to apply His pattern for marriage to their lives.
God restored their original marriages but after nearly a decade, both of their spouses eventually chose to leave. This humbling experience shook their lives, families and ministries. They each, independent of the other, were led by Holy Spirit to heal, recognizing the “why” of their spouse ultimate leaving. Each embarked on a journey with the Holy Spirit to discover the transformative power of God. In God’s perfect timing, Herb and Diane met (again) while seeking His direction for their futures. United by their shared commitment to building a marriage on the foundation of Kingdom principles, they were married in 2004.
They began their life together in Missouri, where they embraced the challenges and blessings of blending a family with wisdom and grace. In 2015, they felt the Lord’s call to return to Michigan to care for their aging grandmother and parents. This season became a living testimony of honoring loved ones and setting an example of selfless service. Through these experiences, Herb and Diane have planted seeds of righteousness, demonstrating how faith, humility, and commitment can glorify God and inspire future generations.Today, Herb and Diane share their passion for God’s design for marriage and family through their ministry. They teach biblical principles, write practical and faith-filled resources, and host conferences to equip and encourage couples to build their relationships on the foundation of God’s Word. Their mission is to see marriages and families thrive by embracing Kingdom values and leaving a legacy of faith for future generations.
