In 2019, a group of us from FRC Kingdom Builders attended the Great Lakes prayer conference held at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois.
After the conference Herb & I felt a strong commissioning to pray over Michigan. At that time, we felt we were to set aside a time to drive the perimeter of Michigan and stand in the gap, repenting and calling Michigan to align with the Kingdom of God . There was also instruction by Holy Spirit to pour salt into the Great Lakes as a symbol of the purifying work of the Holy Spirit. At the time of the commission we were full time caregivers and unable to leave to fulfill this assignment.
Several years passed during which we were caregiving for Herb's grandmother and a second resident , so getting away for a prayer tour was impossible.
In 2023 Dutch Sheets shared Gina Goldston's vision/dream of painting the states in Give Him 15. Our friends Ken & Lori Schwaegerle (shown in the above photo), shared the messages with us. After listening we felt the Holy Spirit say, "It's time."
Upon seeking direction from Holy Spirit, He instructed us to pray over the County Seats of each county in Michigan (85 in all!). We thought we would begin in August. We knew that those who where painting the boarders of the state had finished and yet we felt we were to still go and pray. Holy Spirit told us we were enforcing what had previously been prayed.
One day while ascending into the presence of the Lord, I saw Jesus but he change into wisdom. I began to follow wisdom down a trail. She had a bucket to pick blueberries. I followed in my vision and saw that we went into a patch that had some side paths and some overgrown paths. I followed and we came to a fire pit. It had been made ready with wood but wasn't lit
Herb & I discussed this and decided to trust that we were receiving direction. Since we usually pick blueberries in Hastings, MI, we took this as a sign to begin praying that day in Barry (berry) County. Hastings is the county seat.
The berry patch had a man working the stand. As we were walking to our truck after paying he said, "Hey, pray for me." We stopped and asked, "What is your need?" He said, " I just want everything God has for me. I want to draw closer to him and follow him." We prayed for him and then we began to listen as he shared from Malach 3.
“But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap; [Rev. 6:12-17.] He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness. Then those who feared the Lord talked often one to another; and the Lord listened and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who reverenced and worshipfully feared the Lord and who thought on His name. And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly declare them to be My jewels (My special possession, My peculiar treasure). And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him. Then shall you return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him.”

“FOR BEHOLD, the day comes that shall burn like an oven, and all the proud and arrogant, yes, and all that do wickedly and are lawless, shall be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. [Isa. 5:21-25; Matt. 3:12.] But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and gambol like calves [released] from the stall and leap for joy.”

We felt this was a confirmation tha we were in the correct timing to begin our prayer tour.
From the berry patch we went to the Barry County Courthouse.
The name "Barry" suggests the name is linked to the energy of compassion, cooperation, and empathy. Additionally, in Irish culture, the name Barry is derived from the Gaelic word "Baire," which means "spear." This connection to weaponry and battle may also suggest a spiritual meaning of courage, bravery, and protection.
We prayed the following:
“Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding (County). God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne. Psalms 47:6-8 NKJV
Pour the oils:
‘We anoint (Barry County) Michigan. We Command of the Foreward as recorded in 1607, at Cape Henry, by Rev. Robert Hunt dedicating this land to God. We release it over (Barry County) Michigan as we read it:
“We do hereby dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth.
May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains, and may this Land, along with England, be Evangelist to the World. May all who see this Cross, remember what we have done here, and may those who come here to inhabit join us in this Covenant and in this most noble work that the Holy Scriptures may be fulfilled.”
PS 22. 27-28
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations
We release the shaking over (Barry County) Michigan. Only His Kingdom shall remain.
Pronunciation of shaking over the Executive, Legislative, and judicial branches of government and the entire county. Only the Kingdom of God shall remain. We release/loose those leaders who will not respond to God’s gracious invitation of salvation, and replace them or bind to those positions those who will believe the Lord, hear the voice of the Lord, and be obedient to the voice of the Lord. Bring the goodness of God to (Barry County).
Heb 12:26-28
When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a devouring fire.
We Set the Fire & Blood
• Light a match to release the fire and glory of God that fills the earth.
• Take communion as a team, and release a few crumbs of bread and drops of grape juice, representing the power of the Blood of Jesus being released over Michigan.
Final Decree:
We declare the power of the Blood of Jesus is set around MI. We release the fire of God and His glory to remove any plan of the enemy that would block our state and the nation from being God’s. We declare the shaking and shifting has begun. (Barry County)Michigan belongs to God.
We decree (Barry County) Michigan that God is your maker and your Redeemer. We call you by name. Open your ears, your eyes, and your heart and receive God's words and ways. First Kings 18:21. Do not halt between two opinions. Choose baal or choose God. But like in Elijah's time, we declare God's glory is coming by his spirit with power and authority. He is coming back to take what is His. We declare that there is a reordering going on over (Barry County) and our state.
We place the guard of Isaiah 35 and Isaiah 62: 10-12 over our waters and land. All who come through our gates will see and hear the good news of the Lord and His glory. (Barry County) Michigan speak, arise and release your voice. Declare God's salvation. Lift up your banner for all to see. As in the days of old to all nations. His counsel will lead many to peace. And the sound of God's glory will be carried upon the air, land, and sea. God is your future. Rise up, (Barry County) Michigan.
(Barry County) Michigan Families, government, executive, legislative, and judicial branches, educational institutions and leaders, know the goodness of the Great King. Receive Him now. Hunger and thirst for the goodness, the righteousness that only He can provide. It’s far beyond what we can manufacture or imagine. Worship Him in Spirit and Truth! In Jesus name
Holy Spirit we ask you to confuse and confound the plans of the enemy. Give us victory in (Barry County) Michigan. (Barry County) Michigan is yours!!!
We dispatch angels over (Barry county) to fulfill the words of these decrees spoken today in Jesus name.
A gentle breeze began to blow as we finished our prayer and decrees.
The Lord instructed us to take a staff and tap the ground 3 times declaring the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the government will realign to Kingdom purposes.
